Sandhill Industries Recycled Glass Tile
A full spectrum of colors from light to bright. All sizes of the 100% recycled glass tile come in any of the 36 colors with either a gloss or matte finish. Sandhill Inidustries was founded in 1998 in Fairbanks, Alaska where they were awarded a grant from the Alaska Science and Technology Foundation to develop an innovative glass-fusing technology which utilized 100% recycled glass. Not only are their products made from 100% recycled glass, which is otherwise destine for landfills, each tile takes less than one-half of the energy to produce than ceramic tile, and less than one-fourth of the energy it takes to produce a cast-glass tile. Sandhill's manufacturing facility is now located in Boise, Idaho, positioning their company closer to raw materials and their customers.
